We are having a dilemma with codes 96112/13. Patient comes in on Day 1 for an initial examination (96116/21). On day 2, developmental testing is done with interpretation and report. If no other testing is done, and the patient comes back in on day 3 for feedback, would you bill 96132/3 or add the feedback time to the developmental testing time and bill out 96112/3 on the third day and not bill out on Day 2? So there would be charges billed out on Day 1 and Day 3.

Hi, Were you able to find an answer to this ? I'm curious to know the information also. Thank you!

From what I have learned with NP billing, insurance companies require us to bill everything on the last date of service. So you'd code 1 unit of 96132 and however many units of 96133 (and 96136/96137 as appropriate) all with a DOS for day 3.
