To whom it may concern,
I have been chosen to do billing for neurosurgery and I am not very familiar with it, there is so much I need to learn, especially with the hospital billing part. The physicans do several procedures and my one problem is with the modifiers. I have a physican and his physican assistant who do the surgerys together. What modifiers do I use for him and the assistant? I am not getting paid for the pa and she does have her numbers. Also is there somewhere I can go to learn more about correct billing for neuro. There is so much that is not getting paid and we write off large amounts.
