I have a question on some coding that I am up against. maybe someone can help?
C4 Corpectomy
C4C5 C6C7 acdf
C3C4 C4C5 fusion
interbody device C3 C7
anterior plate C3 C7
allograft

C1T2 poserior arthrodesis and fusion
C2 C6 laminectomy
C1 T2 istrumentation

Anterior will be 63081 (Corp C4) 22551-59 (ACDF C6-C7),22554-59 ( Fusion C4-C5),22846-59 when documented separate component of cage (plate C4-C7),22585-59 (fusion C5-C6),22854 (interbody defect device),22853 (ACDF interbody device),20930 (allograft) this MD needs to dictate atleast 50% of bone taken for you to bill a 63081.
I don't have posterior OP-note or cannot pull it up but from your description it will be 22595 (C1-C2),63001 (laminectomy 1-2levels),22600 (C2-C3),22843 (9 level instrumentation), 22614 x6 (C3-T2).... and the graft that MD is using posteriorly..... hope this helps.
