Hello,

does anyone knows how should i code .... neutropenic fever due to lung pneumonia?

i know that neutropenic fever due to infection code is 288.04

but which is the principal? pneumonia of 288.04? also, should i add a code for fever???

If the date of service is after Sept 30, 2015 then you need to use ICD10CM codes. Look up neutropenia then look under the main category heading for the neutropenia and there are instructions as to what additional codes you will need. Also read the coding guidelines regarding coding of underlying conditions.
