Can anyone provide any tips on what to do such as always have a water bottle with you? Are you on your own for dinner etc? How do you get your CEUs is it all on your mobile app as I see that's an option?

Thank you

Glad to hear you're interested in attending HealthCon. You won't be disappointed.

Make sure you register in advance for the sessions you want to attend. They fill up fast, and although each session has a standby line, you don't want to take a chance. When you register at the conference, you'll receive a tote bag with goodies that include a booklet that outlines the sessions, speakers, includes a map of the conference center, etc. In the back of that is a page on which you can jot down the CEU number that is given at the end of each session/presentation. The HealthCon ap is great for reading up on sessions and speakers, and it's free, but the book is where you track your CEUs.

Usually one of the vendors provides us with a water bottle in our goodie bag....and coolers of iced lemon water are typically available. On Sunday, all meals are on your own, since it's only a half day of sessions. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, breakfast and lunch are provided. Dinner is on your own. There are literally hundreds of places to eat in Vegas....I suggest you look at Trip Advisor to narrow down your choices by location, cost and style. There are several restaurants at the Rio, which you can check out on the Rio's website.

Dress comfortably, since the convention center is fairly large. Nice jeans are acceptable. I recommend bringing a sweater, since they typically keep it cool in the rooms. There is a room set up for vendors, where you can visit booths/tables set up by people who are in the healthcare business and may have services or products you didn't know you couldn't live without. Often there are give-aways and contests.

You will have free time after the sessions each evening. Take advantage of the opportunity to visit Las Vegas. You can see a show, shop, ride a roller coaster, eat fabulous food, and of course gamble. Make sure you introduce yourself to people that you meet and bring your business cards (if you don't have any...make up some). The networking is the best part. Be sure to introduce yourself to one of the AAPC team--- we love to hear where you're from and what you do.

Hope this helps!
