Hello all,
I was recently asked if there was an ICD-10 code we should use if the patient has never smoked. I did come across, in a patient's H&P once, code Z78.9 Other specified health status. Does anyone have any insight on this? Currently if we have a patient that has never smoked, we make sure it is documented in the EMR but if we should be using an ICD-10 code instead I would certainly like to begin doing so.
