Hello,
I was a billing and accounts receivable manager for an accounting firm in my past job but I just completed a certificate program for Medical Coding/Medical Biiling with a grade point average of 4.0 and passed my CPC certification. I have been looking for employment but can not find many entry level positions. Every job listing wants experience. How do we get experience if no one will hire us. Does anyone have any advice on how to get my foot in the door?

internships- AAPC offers Xtern
maybe look into utilizing a temp agency to place you for experience.

I too am facing the same problems. Entry levels even want experience!
Good luck

I would recommend staying active in your local AAPC chapter. Many positions come available through there and word of mouth. if someone that knows you from there puts in a good word for you, with their employer it will help a lot.

Hang in there it is worth it.
