Wiki new coder needs help with CPTs

procedure: cystoscopy, baloon dilation of the right ureter with right ureteroscopy, stone extraction and placement of a 6-French K wart double-J stent.

Not sure if excision of condyloma on the labia should be coded along with other procedures.

Female with severe pain over two weeks with a right hydronephrosis on CT scan. The patient requires stone extraction for relief of pain and hydronephrosis.

Op note: the labia of the vagina showed four obvious condyloma growing on the labia and these were excised with Bovie elecgtrocautery before performing urethroscopy.

Any help is appreciated.

Cystoscopy

A 52332 code is for Cystourethroscopy, with insertion of indwelling uretral stent (double-J type) For the removal of the stone, a 52320 would be used. Without the full OP report, I could be totally wrong. Perhaps this points you in the right direction at least...

urology codes

cysto with uteroscopy w/stone removal 52352 insert of double j is 52332.

as for the other issue if your doctor did the removal of the condyloma then yes you would also code it.
