Has anyone been seeing denials for Medicare conscious sedation codes? I am in RI and we are getting denials for the G0500 when billed with our colons.

They are also reimbursing at 100% for the Colon.

I am bumping this thread because our practice in NH is also having difficulty with both the G0500 and 99152. We are especially having trouble with Medicare and G0500. When it's billed with a screening and the screening turned diagnostic, they're applying the deductible to the patient. NGS advised we try billing with the 33 which then caused a bunch of denials. So we tried the PT which also caused a bunch of denials. We spoke with our provider rep who wasn't even aware of these codes so we are really at a loss. Is anyone else having this same issue? Thanks in advance.
