Wiki New CPT 92650 for Newborn Hearing screening

Need advice on using this NEW CPT code, 92650. We previously use 92586 which will expire on Dec 31st. Need to know how other offices plan on billing this code, if there is any particular problems or modifiers that work for obtaining payment. THANKS !!

For hearing status determination, broadband stimuli, with interpretation and report

For threshold estimation at multiple frequencies, with interpretation and report
(Do not report 92652 in conjunction with 92651)

Neurodiagnostic, with interpretation and report

On December 28th it looks like they ruled that 92650 will not be covered under Medicare but did accept the recommended values from the ASHA, AAA, AAN, and AAO-HNS for VEMP (92517, 92518, 92519), AEP, and electrocochleography (ECochG, CPT 92584) testing for Medicaid programs and commercial insurers to use in 2021. So I wonder if some commercial payers could choose to not cover this item since Medicare does not.
