Has anyone used CPT 96156 for billing Pre-surgical SCS by Psychologist or is 90791 more appropriate? The descriptor doesn't indicate what level of provider can bill this code.

I would say that it does not adequately describe the work of a clearance for surgery. The evaluation code would be more accurate.
