Just looking for some answers about the new E/M combo code for facility charges. Is it now one code for ER E/M facility? Any input is greatly appreciated.

ER codes were exempt from this decision and nothing changes for these code sets. It only effects inpatient facility side.

It is not INPATIENT facility that is affected since they never use E/M codes. It is outpatient clinic that is affected, revenue center 510 revenue center 450 was not affected and will continue using the same E/M codes as before
