Wiki New H1N1 Vaccine Codes

confused!

But 90470 is a deleted code, encoderpro.com says it was deleted in 1998. Do you think they mean 90471?

I read the link and it states 90470, so it sounds like they are reviving a deleted code. Also I am told for Medicare as of Sept 29 to use G9141 - Influenza A (H1N1) immunization

The two codes 90470 and G9141 are for H1N1 administration of immunization charges. The H1N1 vaccine code is supposed to be charge $.00 as the vaccine is supplied to the providers at no cost. I've heard from Anthem that they will recognize both 90470 and the G9141 codes for payment. UHC is still building their claims processor and expect to put out their allowed codes next week.

Also please note that code 90470 and the revision of code 90663 will not be published in the 2010 CPT codebook, because these changes were made after publication of the book. So we need to write it separately in the book.

Thanks for the information, but i need to clarify the codes
so, 90470 admin is for non-mdc patient and G9141 is the adm for mdc patient?

and the vaccine code is 90663?
