We have a family nurse practitioner joining our neurology practice, will she be able to perform family health services such as wellness exams outside of neurology services?
Go to your state board of nursing. I'm going to assume your answer is yes, but APRN scope of practice can be found there. Generally, unless they specialize as a CRNA or CNM, nurse practitioners are family-practice/internal medicine trained. They don't formally specialize otherwise, and they get their specialty training only by working in specialty practices.
