New NPI Needed?

I do the billing for an Infertility Dr. His individual NPI is for Obstetrics & Gynecology - Reproductive Endocrinology (11xxxxxxxx) (Box J24) . We bill under a group name, using a separate NPI (15xxxxxxxx)(Box 33A), which is also set up the same as his individual (OB/Gyn, Reproductive Endo) Tax ID (80-xxxxxxx).

My question is this: My Dr. will now be seeing patient's for Nutrition as well, and is billing under his personal NPI (11xxxxxxxx) (Box J24 & Box 32A & 33A)Does he need to have a separate NPI for this new business that has a separate tax id (Tax ID 20-xxxxxxx)?

I truly hope this all makes sense. Any help is greatly appreciated.
