When a new patient comes in for a yearly physical the doctor usually has to do some record review and an extensive history/pfsh on the patient. Can we bill a prolonged visit with it since it will take more time than usual to complete such as exam? Can you only bill prolonged with sick visits? Thanks :d

Per CPT, prolonged services (i.e. 99354) is reportable with 99201-99215, 99241-99245, 99324-99337, 99341-99350, 90809, 90815....Not 99381-99397
