Hello Everyone, My physician practice has been doing street medicine which in the past was not billable. California Medicaid will now cover it, and we understand we have a new POS code 27 that we can use to show where service was performed. I told my doc that I think we can just code E&M CPTs since this is what service he is performing, but I cannot seem to find anything from CMS/Medicaid or other sites that say so definitively. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
