New Pt Hospital then New Pt Office?

If a patient is seen as an Initial Hospital visit, then sees the same doctor in the office....can you code the first office visit as New patient or does it have to be Established patient?

Once the patient has been seen face to face with a provider and services billed, they are now considered established. It's not related to the point of service.
