I was wondering how other behavioral health practices are coding their telehealth with therapy. Example: 98006-95, 90833 -- there is an edit. Do you all change the code back to 99214 or ???

Make sure the 95 is required. The 98006 is inherently telehealth, so that may also hinder your claim. On the flip side, does the 90833 need a 95 modifier? I am assuming they would both be telehealth.

Right, the CPT manual didn't add the new audio/video telemed codes to the list of codes that should be reported with 95.
The other issue is that the payers are all over the place with whether they accept the new codes, so if it isn't Medicare (which doesn't accept them), you have to check each payer.
