I recently accepted a new position and we are trying to come up with an appropriate title that accurately reflects what I do. I was hired with the title Revenue Cycle Management and Coding Advisor, the title in the ad was Senior Coding Specialist & RCM Advisor, but it seems like I will be doing more then that. I will be going to primary care offices and ensuring they are getting everything done correctly, from front desk to billing to appeals etc. Currently under consideration Revenue Cycle Management Operations and Performance Specialist. However, I would prefer something that mentions coding as I have two certifications and might be getting a third. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a couple words that can be included in a title? Like, Consultant or Quality Control/Management. I like Consultant because it's still pretty general, still describes the part where you're ensuring they're getting everything done correctly and you can tack on something else that describes the coding element. Like, Medical Office Consultant and Coder.... maybe add a I, II and III scale? I hope this helps.
