Wiki New to Neurology coding

I am fixing to take over neurology coding for the clinic I work at. I have never done this type of coding before. Can anyone give me any advice or information that will help me transition into this type of coding? Any helpful icd-9 codes and cpt codes? Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

I agree with hewitt, the Coding Companion is fabulous! Also, the AAN website has a lot of useful coding info.

www.aan.com and you don't have to be logged in to get to a lot of it.

I can probably recommend other helpful sites/resources, depending on what types of procedures/testing are performed in your clinic. Feel free to message me once you have more specific info on what you'll be coding.
