Has anyone billed and or received reimbursement? UHC added to policy they will not cover at a WCC visit. Thanks

Can you share this UHC policy you are talking about? I haven't been able to find much information on these new codes other then we can start billing them. Thank you

I started billing and have received payment from Aetna and Fl BCBS. Fl Medicaid has not updated the Fee schedule we have denials stating not on fee schedule. I notified AAP to see if they can assist as well as the UHC policy excluding payment. They did respond back in regard to UHC and stated they are aware and working with UHC. AAP has a fact sheet out that I attached in case you do not have.

We have received payment from UHC on 90482. Our billed amount is $20 and they paid the full $20. Our BCBS claims denied but that was prior to the codes being updated in their fee schedule, so I am working to try and get those appealed.

Thank you for sharing- the only payers we seem to be having an issue with are UHC and Sunshine Medicaid
