Wiki Newborn Well Hospital Days DX

I was wondering what you all are using as the diagnosis for a well newborn in the hospital beyond the one day (in our case usually due to mother being hospitalized). I am using the V3X.XX for the 99460- initial visit, but I have been using the V20.31 for the subsequent days and discharge as they are technically well visits. Are any of you doing this as well? If so, have you found any problems in doing it this way? Or, are you using the V3X.XX codes for the entire run of well newborn hospitalization?

Any input/advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated!

I use the V3XXX code and have not had anything come back

I also use the V3x.xx and have never had a problem. In most cases I use a V39.00
