I need help I have a newborn that was born and placed on isolation with the mom. Due to the fact that the mom had a positive culture from 3 weeks prior that was positive for MRSA. Would you code anything for the baby, I do not see in the chart that they did any cultures on the baby. HELP PLEASE!!!

If there is no documentation of any services, then there is not charge. Unfortunately in these situations baby has to bunk with mom especially if nursing.
