I have a nurse practitioner that has performed a NG Tube placement during a sick visit. I am needing help to determine what/how to code this. Would she bill out 44500 with 99214 or is it inclusive to 99214. The payer is Ga. Medicaid.

Record reads as "Measured 25 ng tube from nose to ear to stomach. On right. Tip of tube lubricated with ky jelly. Pt tolerated placement. Aspirated stomach contents. Air bubble heard when air passed thru tube into stomach. secured with paper tape and tegaderm product mom brought form hospital."
