I work in a Urology office setting and our physicians are wanting to use Nitrous Oxide to help with sedation for in office procedures such as vasectomies, bladder biopsies etc those are some of the in office procedures that are done. I am aware all payers have different criteria but in general what is there a specific code for place of service 11 that can be billed HCPCS/CPT code. Any help on where to start will be helpful. Thanks in advance

Its not billable, it doesn't qualify as conscious sedation and the only code that exists is for Dental D9230 . You may need have the patient sign a waiver and collect up front.
