NobleStitch for PFO Closure

Has anyone code a PFO closure using the Noble Stitch technique? The closure is closed with stitches instead of an implant. CPT 93580 is PFO closure with an implant. Thinking of CPT 93799. Thank you. Buttercup
 
Confirmed the correct code is CPT 93580 for the Noble Stitch or Heart Stitch procedure. The KwiKnot is considered an implant. Ice would be code if done. RHC is inclusive to the procedure and not coded. Buttercup
 
I emailed the medical director at Child Cardiology associates in VA who was performing this procedure. He explained his team and lawyers looked into this carefully and the KwiKnot is considered an implantable device. They are using CPT 93580

Also asked the same question to Dr. Z. The response was: Per recent CPT guidance, we recommend 93799 (or 33999, however 93799 is close to 93580 and we prefer this, with charge equivalent to a PFO closure charge for 93580
