Hello. For non DRG contracts (e.g.: percent off changes); are medications for an epidural included in the epidural charge regardless if billed under rev code 370 or 720? should an epidural be billed in time units?

I think that this is a question that your hospital is going to have to answer for you. Most facilities would charge their drugs separately, but it’s possible that some would already figure the service charge to be including them. Regarding the revenue codes and units you should also follow your organization’s policies since those would be set to align with your payers’ policies and contractual requirements.
