Hello,

Can someone help me with a CPT code for a non-joint injection for Guyon Syndrome, ulnar approach? Thanks! :)

op note?

I code a lot of Ortho but I was unfamiliar with this condition. I would like to know the answer as well, as I'm sure if we haven't seen it yet, we probably will in the future.
From a little research, it looks like Guyon's Syndrome is like cubital tunnel but a compression of the ulnar nerve at the wrist instead of the elbow.
I see it isn't a wrist joint injection but does the op note give any detail of the location or the target of the injection? If it is a tendon, is it the actual sheath or the insertion of the tendon? Maybe posting a little of the Op Note would help us determine...
