Good afternoon,

I need some opinions on coding for vaccinations.
An example I have is if a patient gets a tetanus vaccine for routine, the diagnosis code would be V03.7. If the patient gets a tetanus due to a cut, the diagnosis codes would be for the cut and the E code of how the cut happened but is there a V code that should be reported as well?

Can anyone else think of other vaccinations that may be given as non-routine and the appropriate diagnosis codes.

Thanks!
