Pt comes in for CP and was told by PMP they had anxiety and prescribed anxiety meds. PT didn't even start the meds. Back in the ED for CP. Final CP, COVID under the MDM the doctor said CP could be related to anxiety possibly. No other mention of anxiety.
MD didn't no Pt's positive result at the time. I coded the CP, U07.1 and noncompliance Z code as they didn't even start the meds. Would I code the anxiety and a T code for underdoing if they didn't even start the anxiety meds? I thought Pt would have to start meds in order to "underdose" them.
