Can anyone guide me on this? Please share your experience in billing criteria in such scenarios.

We usually bill this for the physician. I am checking to see anyone's experience in billing this service for a NP.

Can a non-physician practitioner (NPP), such as nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs), perform SCRM/ILR insertion and removal procedures? Medicare may reimburse an NPP performing this procedure as long as it is within the scope of their practice, it is allowed by state license requirements, and the facility allows NPPs to perform the procedure in their facility.
