Hi List,
I need your help with this one.....The PA/and or Nurse Practitioner sees the patient and after evaluation decides an MRI is needed to obtain complete information regarding the condition/injury in order to proceed with the best treatment plan. They are of course working under the supervision of a physician.
Would the MRI be billed under the NNP's # or under the supervising physician's #? ...Do I have a choice/can I bill under either?
