Our doc saw a patient for one problem..she then stated she had a different problem and he deferred the rest of the visit to our NP who did a pessary fitting and prescribed something for vaginitis which was not the reason for the visit. Would you bill an o/v under doc then pessary fitting under NP...There are two distinct diagnois. Thank You!
