Greetings,
We have a NP on staff who will be rendering services in our office. When she is done seeing the patient will the physician need to sign off on her examination? We have an EMR system and would like to ensure that we are within the CMS guidelines. Also, if the physician is required to sign off on the NP's services rendered, what verbage would need to be included on the encounter to ensure that both the NP and physician are covered?
Any assistance on this is greatly appreciated!
