I am not exactly sure how to bill this since I am kind of new to nuc med. Can I bill 78803 for all three days? They also billed the last day with 78012.
Technique: On 8/3/2017 the patient was injected IV with 4.9 mCi of
In-111 ProstaScint. On 8/7/2017 , approximately 96 hours delayed
planar ProstaScint images were obtained from the top of the head to
approximately the distal thighs. ProstaScint SPECT images of the
abdomen and pelvis were obtained. SPECT/CT images performed with very
low radiation dose CT for anatomic localization and fusion imaging
only. Additional delayed planar images of the abdomen and pelvis
performed on 8/8/2017 given the unusual pattern of uptake, to
determine if this moves or resolved such as bowel activity can
sometimes do.
