I'm still in school, but am interested in obtaining my CIRCC certification after my CPC certification. I was wondering if Nuclear Medicine coding is under interventional radiology or under radiology in general?

It is not considered interventional radiology.

I do not consider Nuclear Medicine a part of Interventional Radiology. I have seen some overlap in application, but doubt it would be included in any curriculum or test for CIRCC.
Perhaps someone who has taken the test recently can weigh in.

I agree with you Danny, they do not overlap, I took the exam in August of 2011. The CIRCC is a whole different ball of wax.
