We have a situation where we do Nuclear Stress Tests in our office. We do not own the equipment. We usually code 93015, A9500, 78465, 78478, 78480. We had a situation where the doctor that ordered the stress was not in the office when it was performed. We did have another physician here and read the EKG and okayed the go ahead and supervised the test. Should we use 93016 and 93017 for the doc that was in the office and bill A9500 and 78465, 78478 and 78481 to the ordering doc. The interp doctor should then bill 93018. What do you think??
Thanks
Dana
