Please help! How would you bill this? This is for an in office nuclear stress test (we own the equipment). One doctor is the "stress doctor" supervising, and the interpretation is billed under another doctor. The office is trying to bill 93015 under Dr A and A9500 & 78452 under Dr B. I feel that Dr A cannot bill CPT 93015 because she is not supervising & interpreting.

Our clinic encounters this frequently. Here is what we bill for whom: Supervising - 78452.TC, 93017, 93016, A9500 and your J code if you use persantine or lexiscan. Reading provider gets 78452.26 and 93018. Hope this helps!
