A couple scenarios below in regards to assigning Low or Moderate Complexity.

1. Upper vs GI bleed
Would this be an undiagnosed new problem with uncertain prognosis?

Colonoscopy/EGD scheduled for GI Bld
Our physician always states the risks he goes over with the patients so would that be considered Low or Moderate?

2. Symptomatic Cholelithiasis (Gallstones)
Would this be an acute, uncomplicated illness?

3. Ventral Hernia
I thought this would be an acute complicated injury b/c of the risk of incarceration (and the acute, uncomplicated illness example was a simple sprain) but recently had someone tell me hernia's should be considered Low Complexity.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
