If a nurse practitioner rounds on a postpartum patient at the hospital for their supervising physician, is this included in their global period or can we bill seperately for when the NP rounds on the patient?

This is the same application of the rule of one practice, many practitioners involved in care. If she is rounding instead of the MD in the same practice, it is included in global care.
