Does anyone in NJ bill for a Nurse Practitioner? I am looking for some comprehensive information on how to bill for them, which plans will credential them and what the rules are. I know all about CMS incident to, shared rules, etc, but I am mostly concerned about private payors. The nurse practitioner tells me that her previous practice billed for her all the time when the doctor was not there, etc.
Also, how do retail medical clinics that are popping up all over bill for their services, there are usually nurse practitioners manning the clinics.
