Ok, I have researched and researched and I give up.

If the patient comes in for an injection only, do we bill the 99211, 90772(96372-09) and the drug

or the 90772 and the drug only?

Is the professional component included in the 90772?

same with Lab only? What is included in the 36415?

HELP ME!

Why would you be billing a 99211. I believe 99211 and 90772 which is now 96372 are bundled. In our office we bill the admin fee and the medicine.

Is this pt seeing the nurse for a visit or are they simply coming in for the injection.

NO,Only for the injection. or when the patient is being seen by the MD for bronchitis only and we give an injection, wouldn't you bill the OV.25 96372 and the drug?

I also have questions about this. One of our providers' nurse is billing out for injection only (patient supplies their meds - birth control). Can we bill out 99211 or must we use 96372?

Yes... you would bill a visit , the admin fee and the drug if seeing the MD.

I was just wondering why you were billing 99211 along with meds if pt not being seen.

Thanks for clarifying.
