I bill for a physician that visits patients in a nursing facility that offers both short term rehab and long term care, My question is, if the facility offers both levels of care which place of service code would i use on the claim for the provider would it be 31 or 32? or does it depend on which part of the facility the patient is in when the provider see's them?
