I am billing for an internal medicine md., he wants to bring in a nutritionist. We decided that its not worth it to bill for the nutritonist's services since most payors most likely will not cover.

So we were wondering if the dr. sees the pt the same day, following their time with the nutritionist - can he just bill an e/m?
