we have an RD on staff and for a regular dietary visit (to bcbs) we bill s9470 dx v65.3 plus any comorbidities. lately we have patients who of course called bcbs and are told they have this coverage but we billed it incorrectly and need to bill out as a preventative visit. is there another dx code we should use? thanks
