I know that if an OB physician admits a patient to the hospital for antepartum issues that I may bill that outside the OB Global. What if my provider is on call for another OB physician and evaluates the patient in the hospital as an outpatient and then trasfers that patient to another facility for a higher level of care? Am I able to bill for the E/M or is this included in the OB Global for the other provider? I think that it is part of the global, but if it is billable, I do not want to lose any revenue. Thank you in advance for any help with this.
