Hi Everyone,
One of our physicians saw a patient for the entire pregnancy, pt only
had 4 prenatal visits, was admitted several times in patient , and
then delivered @ 30 weeks, My question is can we bill this with the
global or should it be split to prenatal visists & delivery w PP ??

Was the patient seen at any other facility? 4 visits prior to 30 weeks is not standard.

If the patient was seen elsewhere, split the global up. How did you post the charges for the inpatient admission? This may effect how the insurance company will view the global charge.
