How many visits does medicaid consider to be a global package?? If our dr. has the initial ob visit, delivered the baby and did the ppartum care, how many visits does medicaid need to consider it to be global? If any one can help me with this question that would be wonderful!
 
We do not see many Medicaid patients though, I believe you have to breakdown your prenatal visits for Medicaid. They are the only insurance that we cannot bill global to.
 
Did the doctor see the patient for any routine ob visits? if not, you can only bill the initial visit and the delivery with post partum care.
