Patient had two prenatal visits and then delivery. Will the two prenatal visits be broke out into 99213 or billed 0501F? Insurance denied (Cigna) the 99213 for global. She had no other care elsewhere
 
If you are contracted to bill the global charge, then you should bill as global care. Sometimes the insurance will come back and ask for this to be changed to a delivery only and then E&M codes for the 2 visits.
